I was recently asked the question " Is there really much difference in the expensive and cheaper laundry detergent " I decided to do a little research on this topic. Personally the only thing I really notice between different detergents expensive or cheep is scent. I am sure that some of the expensive brands get stains out better but I always pre-treat so I have not noticed that first hand. I have used just about every brand out there and can't say there is one I wouldn't use. I buy what is on sale and if I have a coupon that makes it even better. Currently I am using Target's Up & Up Free and Clear, I prefer free and clear to avoid the added dye. I was noticing small blue stains on my clothes from time to time and since switching to a clear detergent I have not seen any at all. I will continue to use what ever detergent I find for the best price per ounce. I have attached a great post with different opinions and scenarios.
